Mission & Vision

Rooted in the biblical narrative, we believe that Israel's significance transcends political boundaries, serving as a beacon of hope and faith for Christians worldwide.

Our vision is to empower individuals to become advocates for Israel, promoting a narrative of hope, innovation, and mutual benefit. Isaiah 44:26 “Who confirms the word of his servant and fulfills the predictions of his messengers, who says of Jerusalem, ‘It shall be inhabited,’ of the towns of Judah, ‘They shall be rebuilt, and their ruins I will restore.

By fostering relationships and collaborations among diverse faith communities, we aim to build a strong foundation for peace and understanding. We aspire to address social injustices, combat antisemitism, and encourage the pursuit of coexistence and prosperity for all South Africans. Together, we can shape a future where respect and appreciation for Israel’s contributions to global peace and development are recognized and celebrated.

Our Mission

At SAFI, our mission is to raise awareness and understanding of Israel among South Africans, rooted in biblical teachings about Israel’s role in God’s plan. We aim to provide honest insights into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict while promoting peaceful dialogue. By addressing injustices faced by both Israelis and Palestinians, we encourage empathy and recognize the atrocities committed by extremist groups like Hamas. Our goal is to empower South Africans to discern right from wrong and embrace the biblical call to support Israel. We strive for unity through grassroots initiatives, fostering national dialogue that values peace and coexistence.

Our Vision

SAFI envisions a South Africa inspired by the spirit of Madiba, where support for Israel is embraced across all communities. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of dialogue and cooperation, moving from confrontation to reconciliation. Mishlei (Proverbs) 16:7 states, "When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." Through shared understanding and respect, we can foster harmony. Additionally, Tehillim (Psalms) 133:1 reminds us, “Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers also to dwell together!” These principles guide our mission for reconciliation and unity.
